Walking
There are local short walks, like "The Peat Road" at Drumbeg (ask Steve in Drumbeg Stores for details) and lots of Ranger guided walks (of varying difficulty) from Lochinver and elsewhere held throughout the year, to the more "serious" walks for the intrepid souls amongst you! Serious walkers will do their own research but there are plenty of opportunities for all ages and abilities.

The Leitir Easaidh All Abilities path (Little Assynt) is a lovely short trail which is suitable for wheelchairs, prams and pushchairs.
Culag Woods, The Falls of Kirkaig, The Bone Caves, The River Inver walk and Stoer Head are some of our favourite walks.
In the house you will find maps and guidebooks, plus a GPS pre-loaded with walks.
